Laughter & mayhem ensued on the Wrecking Ball Call! Not only did we get a chance to chat about what we all got out of this experience but the wrecking continued - LIVE! Enjoy the call.

<1 Week Until We Wreck This Journal!

It's almost time to take the book off the shelf!
We start the wreckage next Friday, June 5th.
There's still time to sign up - just fill in the form in the post below.
If you have any questions, email me.

Most Frequently Asked Question: Where/When Do We Begin?

A lot of people are wondering whether they should be wrecking this week so they have something to post next Friday or whether they should actually start the book on June 5th. I always think of the first day as the day you crack the book open, the beginning of the adventure. I just love the idea of all of us, around the world, making a start at the same time. But, as always with the Next Chapter, there's no wrong way to participate. Do what feels delicious to you.

You might be wondering what you'd post about next Friday if you've only just opened the book. You could share what you're anticipating, what you're looking forward to and what you're nervous about. You might set your intentions for the journey, express what you want to get out of the experience, describe the first baby step you've taken with the book or why you've decided to participate. Write about what it means to begin. Write what's on your mind and in your heart as you stand on the threshold of this brand new experience. All you have to do is share.

I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with you.

with love and anticipation,
Jamie

  2. Yeah! I have flipped through the book over and over again. I will say that if i'm supposed to put it under my pillow and sleep on it, it's going to be before i spill things on it and put food stains on it and put it on a string and drag it around behind me. gross! but i can't wait!

  8. As it always seems to be for me, my start on the book will be delayed. (We have to go to TX for a family funeral.) I'm planning to take the book with me though, so hopefully I'll have time to start. I'll post when I return. I'm very excited about this book!!

  9. I'm excited and scared. I'm facing my fears of "ruining" a book, of getting messy and trying new things. I had this book and hadn't been ready to try it on my own.

Thanks for the opportunity to do it with a group. :)

  14. Found this amazing project while reading one of my fav blogs - Writing from life. What can I say? If ever a project was right up my street this is it. I know I have a problem with everything having to be spot-on-perfect, so this kind of encouragement is just what I need to unleash all the pent up creativity. I ordered the book online within about 2 minutes of finding out about it. Will be watching for the postman all week. Can't wait to share with everyone what we do.

  15. I just joined in a couple of days ago, and don't yet have my book - I can't wait!! It's supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I am looking forward to the fun and to meeting head-on with any gremlins that come up. I did post about it on my blog today. Here it is: http://www.spiritessenceart.com/2009/06/week-8-100-in-100-challenge-entrance-to.html I think I was supposed to link this exact post on Mr. Linky but forgot to do it that way, so here it is.
